Day 1: Arrival and Off to Gangtok

First day of the tour! You’ll arrive at Bagdogra Airport, and from there, we’ll head to Gangtok. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and sits in the middle of the Himalayan range, high up at about 1700 meters above sea level. The views here are simply breathtaking, especially of Mount Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the whole world.

Day 2: Exploring Gangtok

Today, let’s explore Gangtok together! We’ll go on a city tour and visit incredible places like the Rumtek Monastery, Shanti Viewpoint, and the Nalanda Institute. Oh, don’t forget the Golden Stupa! There’s also the Dordul Chorten Stupa and Tibetology to discover.

Day 3: Tsomgo Lake Adventure

Get ready for an exciting day trip to Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake. This magical lake is at a super high altitude of 12300 ft and changes colours with the seasons. You’ll be amazed by its beauty! On our way back, we’ll visit the temple of Baba Harbhajan Singh, a brave soldier considered a hero.

Day 4: Pelling – The Enchanting Hill Station

Today, we’ll go to Pelling, another charming hill station in Sikkim. On the way, we’ll stop at the Chardham temple, which has replicas of all Chardham Temples, and you won’t believe your eyes when you see the 87 ft statue of Lord Shiva at Namchi. And once we reach Pelling, you’ll be surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Day 5: Sightseeing in Pelling

There’s so much to see in Pelling! We’ll start by visiting Rimbi Falls and then head to Kanchanjunga Waterfall, one of Sikkim’s largest waterfalls. The Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred and wish-fulfilling lake for Hindus and Buddhists, is also on our list. And don’t forget the Pemayangtse Monastery! In the evening, we’ll enjoy a local folk dance.

Day 6: Onwards to Darjeeling

Today, we’ll set off to Darjeeling, known as the Queen of the Hills. This place is famous for its tea industry and the breathtaking views of Mount Kanchenjunga. And guess what? We’ll have a thrilling experience going water rafting on the Teesta River to Darjeeling.

Day 7: Discovering Darjeeling

In Darjeeling, we’ll visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), where mountaineers worldwide come to train.

We’ll also check out the Zoological Park, Tea Gardens, and Tensing Rock. And guess what you’ll see at Tiger Hill in the morning? The stunning sunrise over the Kanchanjunga Ranges! It’s a sight you’ll never forget.

Day 8: Peace Pagoda and Happy Valley Tea Estate

Today, we’ll explore the Peace Pagoda and the Japanese Temple, two serene and beautiful places. And we’ll head to the Happy Valley Tea Estate, one of the highest tea garden locations in Darjeeling. You’ll get to taste some delicious tea there too!
