Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad

As you arrive at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, our driver/representative will pick you up and guide you through all the check-in formalities. Our first stop will be the iconic Gandhi Ashram, where we’ll learn about the life and teachings of the Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

 

Next, we’ll visit the marvelous Akshardham Temple, showcasing magnificent architecture and spiritual significance. Unfortunately, the temple is closed on Mondays, but don’t worry; we have more exciting places to explore!

 

Prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking Dada Hari Ki Vav and Adalaj Step Well, incredible structures that served as water reservoirs in ancient times. Our day ends with visiting the exquisite Sidi Saiyed Mosque and Hate Sing Jain Temple, both showcasing splendid craftsmanship.

 

Day 2: From Ahmedabad to Patan and Modhera

Today is the day to go out of Ahmedabad to the historic town of Patan. Here, we’ll witness the traditional art of Patola weaving, known for its intricate designs and vibrant colors. Our next stop is the majestic Rani Ki Vav, a step well that will leave you spellbound with its intricate carvings.

 

We’ll then proceed to the magnificent Modhera Sun Temple, dedicated to the Sun God. The temple’s architecture and intricate sculptures will transport you to an ancient era. Get ready for an exciting village safari, where we’ll experience the rural charm of Gujarat.

 

Day 3: Dasada/Bajana to Bhuj

We’ll set out for Dasada/Bajana to explore the Wild Ass Sanctuary. Keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Afterward, we head to Bhuj, a city steeped in history and culture.

 

In Bhuj, we’ll visit the marvelous Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal, both stunning examples of architectural brilliance. Get ready to learn about the rich history of Gujarat at the Kutch Museum, where fascinating artifacts await us.

 

Day 4: Bhuj to White Rann and Vibrant Villages!

Our day begins with a visit to the dazzling White Rann, a vast expanse of salt desert that looks like a dreamy white wonderland. Khavda, Hodka, Nirona, and Dhordo villages will welcome us with open arms, each offering unique cultural experiences, arts, crafts, and interactions with fascinating tribes.

 

Day 5: Bhuj to Mandvi

We head to the coastal town of Mandvi, where we’ll explore the opulent Vijay Vilas Palace, once a summer retreat for royalty. Witness the impressive shipbuilding industry and relax on the serene Mandvi Beach.

 

Day 6: From Bhuj to Jamnagar

Today, we’ll travel to Jamnagar, renowned for its Bandhani sarees. We’ll visit the Bala Hanuman Temple, famous for its continuous chanting of the name of Lord Rama, which has earned it a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The picturesque Lakhota Lake will offer us some moments of tranquility.

 

Day 7: From Jamnagar to Dwarka – A Sacred Pilgrimage!

Prepare for a sacred journey to Dwarka, an ancient city associated with Lord Krishna. We’ll visit the revered Dwarkadhish Temple and the serene Gopi Talav. The Nageshwar Temple and Rukmani Temple are also on our list. We’ll even explore Bet Dwaraka, an island connected to Lord Krishna’s legendary kingdom.

 

Day 8: From Dwarka to Porbandar and Somnath

Next, we journey to Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. At the Kirti and Sudama Temple, we’ll learn about the great man’s life and friendship with Sudama.

 

Our pilgrimage continues to the famous Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, an important Hindu pilgrimage site. The spiritual Bhalka Tirth, associated with Lord Krishna’s transcendence, awaits our exploration.

 

Day 9: From Somnath to Diu

Our journey takes us to Diu, a tranquil island with beautiful beaches and historical treasures. We’ll explore the majestic Diu Fort, relax at Nagoa Beach, and learn about the island’s history at Diu Museum. The serene Gangeshwar Temple and the St. Paul’s Church add to the island’s charm.

 

Day 10: From Diu to Bhavnagar

Today, we head to Bhavnagar, where we’ll visit the Gandhi Smriti, dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi’s stay in the city. The Barton Museum will take us on a journey through the region’s past.

 

Day 11: From Bhavnagar to Palitana and Lothal

Our last day of exploration begins with a visit to the magnificent Palitana Jain Temple, a pilgrimage site with an incredible 3500 steps leading to the temple complex.

 

We’ll then head to Lothal, an ancient city of the Indus Valley Civilization. Although it’s closed on Fridays, we’ll admire the ancient ruins and learn about this remarkable civilization.

 

Day 12: Farewell Gujarat
